November 2017 Update

Hello MBHA Members!
It’s time for another update from your Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association board! Things have been moving right along. Most Districts are now holding both mixed quartet and working toward mixed chorus contests  We have sponsors (champions, as I like to call them) in many of the BHS districts who have volunteered to sponsor a Mixed Barbershop Harmony trophy for those who compete in district quartet competitions and now district chorus competitions. We’d like to say a special thank you to those sponsors, and a congrats to the winners!  Watch for those details in a separate post.
We’re also excited to inform you that Kyle Kitzmiller (you might have heard of him!) is engaged in building our new website. We’re all looking forward to added features and value to our membership. Responding to members’ requests, there will be many new features rolled out in the coming months!
In addition, the MBHA will be hosting a Mixed Quartet Showcase in Orlando, time and place to be announced. There will be numerous mixed quartets and ensembles performing, We invite you attend our showcase and check out our booth in the Marketplace.
The MBHA Board of Directors is an active group of volunteers.  If you have a skill to offer and  you wish to become involved please contact Gerry Borden at sablehrt@gmail.com.
Mailing of membership cards/numbers and pins are in process, you may have received emailed copies.  We sincerely appreciate your continued patience as we iron out the online membership registration. As we all know, sometimes life gets ahead of us — but it is something the Membership Team are focused on, it is a top priority.
