UPDATE FROM ONTARIO DISTRICT — NEW MIXED HARMONY QUARTET CHAMP NAMED!

Ripple Effect has won the Ontario District’s Mixed Quartet Championship for a second time, this time with a score of 79.6! The Ontario District MBHA Quartet Champ trophy, generously sponsored by Barry and Sharon Towner, is now in their hands!  Ripple Effect just one week ago competed at the World Mixed Quartet Contest in Munich Germany and won third place bronze medals.

There were six MBHA quartets that entered this year’s contest, held in conjunction with the District’s International Prelims and District Chorus contests.

Congratulations also go to 2nd place Solstice quartet, and 3rd place West Train quartet. Mixed barbershop is alive and well in the Ontario District!
